Check the options to report on the official website and text the report in that way. You also can post your other reports and complaints and search for power outages if it happens in your area. How to solve outage by PGE outage map?
If you have account on PG&E outage map you will be received the notification of PG&E before storage power and it is sent until power is restored
The notifications are sent to customers to help them plan and prepare for power shutoff by email, automatic phone call or text as fast as possible to make sure that everyone will hold the information if a problem happens. These notifications include power restoration times and estimated power shutoff, based on that customers can prepare for a Public Safely Power Shut Off.
However the weather can affect the shutoff timing and customers so the company may not send the first notification until the power is shut off on the same day.
The goals of nonfictions’ timing during the Public Safety Power Shutoff :
- At least 48 -24 hours before power turn off
- At least 1 hours before power is turned off
- In time power turn off
- After comethrough weather
- Estimating time of changing restoration
- Once in power is restore
How to report on pge outage map?
Customers can report an outage by:
- Entering your address in the search box on the outage map. If we are not aware of your outage, you will see the option to “Report outage.”
First, login your address in the search box of the outage map. Then you can see the “Report outage”, you can choose this if you are not aware of your outage. - Selecting “REPORT OUTAGE” in the navigation and then entering your address in the “Outage address” box on the Report an outage page.
Secondly, after selecting “ report outage”, enter your address in ‘ Outage address “ on the page.
